Philanthropic Events

Alpha Phi - Tau Chapter at the University of Oregon holds four philanthropy events. Last year, we raised a cumulative of $15,000 for our cause, heart health!

OUR ON CAMPUS FUNDRAISERS

PHIFA

Each spring term Alpha Phi holds our PHIFA philanthropy. It is our annual soccer tournament. Fraternity men and Sorority women compete against one another in support of our cause, woman’s heart health. We have so much fun cheering on the teams and coaching them!! This year, the men of Beta Theta Pi won!

HEART DAYS

February is National Heart Health Awareness Month. During the month of February, Alpha Phi does several things to bring awareness to the University of Oregon campus. During "Heart Days," a week of bringing awareness to our cause, members of Alpha Phi wear custom shirts in support of heart health. This year, members of Alpha Phi sold sweet treats to students, staff, and members of the community in hopes of spreading smiles and increasing awareness about heart health on campus.

RED DRESS GALA

Alpha Phi members, alumni, family and friends are invited to attend our annual formal Red Dress Gala. Baskets are donated by current members and are auctioned off throughout night. Red Dress is a night of eating, dancing, and being with friends – all while raising money for a great cause!

Alpha Pheast

Alpha Phi members, friends, and other Fraternal and Sorority Chapters are invited to come to the Alpha Phi house to eat a wonderful home-cooked thanksgiving meal made by our outstanding chef Shauna. All attendees are also welcome to join our pumpkin pie eating competition. All proceeds are donated to the Alpha Phi Foundation supporting woman’s heart health.
